This is the second film of the Performance series, capturing musicians from the American Independent Scene live. Using a specific experimental cinema technique for each band matching their energy, all of these films are uniquely handmade: all captured on film, hand processed and edited by MaLo Sutra Fish. This series was initiated during Covid, seeing so many concerts cancelled over two, which ultimately impacted the economy of the American Independent music scene, already struggling with the streaming economy. Willing to keep advocating for independent and genuine music making, it grew into an on-going project highlighting the complexity of being a musician today while celebrating their indispensable existence.
